01 GIS Application for Sustainable Natural Resources Management

This is an interdisciplinary course that explores the sustainable use, conservation, and governance of natural resources such as land, water, forests, minerals, and biodiversity.

02 Urban Climate Risk Assessment and Management

This is a specialized course that examines the vulnerabilities of urban areas to climate-related hazards such as heatwaves, floods, droughts, and rising sea levels.

03 Health, Safety, and Environment

This is a comprehensive course designed to equip participants with the principles and practices necessary to manage occupational health, ensure workplace safety, and protect the environment.

04 Municipal Solid Waste Management

This course focuses on the sustainable collection, transportation, treatment, and disposal of urban waste generated by households, institutions, and businesses.

05 Mine Waste Management

This Course examines the environmental and safety challenges associated with the generation, handling, storage, and disposal of mining by-products such as tailings, waste waster, waste rock, and slag.

06 Urban Wastewater and Storm Water Management using Nature-based Solutions

This course explores sustainable approaches for managing urban water systems by mimicking natural processes.

07 Land Reclamation and Mine Site Rehabilitation

This course provides practical and scientific knowledge on the restoration of land degraded by mining activities. Participants will explore the environmental, regulatory, and socio-economic aspects of land reclamation and learn how to design, implement, and evaluate mine site rehabilitation programs.

08 Emissions Management and Strategic Transition to E-Mobility Vehicles Training Course

This course is designed to equip participants with critical knowledge and practical skills in emissions monitoring, reduction strategies, and transitioning to e-mobility solutions.
